The Challenge

About Us

The fashion industry, valued at USD 2.4 billion globally is the world’s third-largest manufacturing sector after the automobile and technology industries. It is responsible for 10 % of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and marinetime shipping combined. At this pace, the fashion industry’s greenhouse gas emissions will surge more than 50 % by 2030.

The Gulf Arab states can play a significant role in supporting global efforts to close the gap and achieve net-zero goals. The GCC nations have been making headlines for a long time for their intent to make concrete advancements in digital innovative technologies and investment in sustainable future.

The GCC Nations can be pioneers in taking the world towards sustainable fashion by leading innovative solutions using frontier data technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, IoT, and Big Data.
